Do you know that there is difference between Christmas and Xmas?

I see many Christians typing “Xmas” instead of Christmas, even on our page; many are ignorant of this and some are living outside of Christ.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ among Christians worldwide; as we celebrate Christmas, Christ is set as the priority and the center of the celebration, so it is more than secular or social celebration, but a Christian celebration with in-depth meaning in our relationship with God. That God love us so much that He sent His only begotten Son for us; that Jesus Christ was born for us, for our salvation, IMMANUEL!

Christmas also signifies that the world is recognizing and calling Jesus the Christ, that the Messiah of the world; it is a witness to pass message to the world that Christ has been born and
you are called to be born again in Christ.

But along the way, the devil was not happy as the word “Christmas” was circulating around the world everywhere even in the official, secular and social places, people calling Jesus Christ; and so people under the control of Satan moved to cancel Christ from Christmas, to remove Christ from the December 25th celebration, and you know when Christ is left from a celebration, when Christ is not glorified in whatever you are doing, it become idolatry.

So, in subtle and modern English, they cancelled Christ from Christmas and replaced it with Xmas. In English, X is another sign of cancelling, removing or
wronging something. A symbol of approval may look like this √ or to mark something right but to cancel
something, to disapprove something, you can use a symbol of X. This is the Xmas you have today, where Christ is removed and cancelled = Xmas. So where is the Christ in the Christmas we are celebrating today?

If you search the history of the word “Xmas” online, you will see different answers. They said that in Greek letters, X stands for “Chi” but since ‘X’ is not Chi in English, we read the word as X-mas and see no connection with Christ. In the United States, in 1977 New Hampshire Governor Meldrim Thomson sent out a press release saying that he wanted journalists to keep the ‘Christ’ in Christmas and not
call it Xmas–which he called a ‘pagan’ spelling of Christmas. An American Evangelist and Missionary Franklin Graham told CNN journalist Roland Martin in an interview:

“For us as Christians, this is one of the
most holy of the holidays, the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. And for people to take Christ out of Christmas. They’re happy to say merry Xmas. Let’s just take Jesus out. – allafrica.com

Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ into the world, and more than that, it is celebrating your birth in Christ, being born again, or how will you better celebrate Christmas without you being genuinely born again? That is useless! John 3:3

Christmas is remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and renewing our commitment to His service – living for Him and sharing the Good news to all
men – evangelism! John 3:35, 36
Christmas is remembering the sacrificial giving of God, and practise the giving.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten Son” John 3:16.

Giving is part and parcel of Christmas, sharing with others, no matter how small. You celebrating Christmas without sharing is an empty Christmas.

Xmas is a manipulated type of celebration by the unsaved, though claimed to be Christians. It is a pagan way of calling Christmas, they are scared to called “Christ” or they show they reject Jesus as the Christ of their lives, or they see writing “Christmas”
as too long and lonesome.

Xmas is celebrating on December 25th without genuine salvation in Christ.

Xmas is celebrating Christmas in a way that will not glorify Christ.

Xmas is celebrating Christmas without Christ as the centre.

With the clear differences listed above, you can clarify which type you have been celebrating or you are celebrating today. The genuine celebration of
Christ begins the day you are genuinely born again, and on the Christmas, you make Christ the center of your celebrating, you do everything that will glorify Christ, you use the period to share the Good news of the birth of Christ.

NOTE 1: If you have not experienced genuine salvation that gives victory of adamic nature, addicted sins, and common sins, or if your Christian
life has gone low or backward, you can use today to rededicate your life to Jesus and experience the purpose and power of His birth. Please click on this
link, read the short message and pray as directed http://www.facebook.com/notes/revelation-of-truth-evangelicalministries-rtem/how-can-i-be-saved/270674586372252

NOTE 2: If you have been saved, you need to recommit yourself to serve God better and share His Good news more than ever before. The end is nearer
than before. And do not join the pagan to call or type Christmas as Xmas.

God bless you and Merry CHRISTmas!

Christmas Or Xmas?

The Christmas holidays are a wonderful time of the year, snow falling, Inspiring music, a spirit of
giving, etc.  It just wouldn’t be the same without Christmas.

The word “Christmas” means “Christ” and then “gift.” Hence, the true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, God’s gift to man.

Luke 2:11 says, “ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Jesus is the Savior, come into the world to save the souls of sinful men. We are told in Luke 2:13-15 that when Jesus was born, He was worshipped by “a multitude of the heavenly host.” Hebrews 1:6 says, “Again, when He bringeth in the first
begotten into the world, He Saith, And LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM .

Wow! All the angels of heaven came to worship Jesus at His birth. John said he saw “ten thousand times ten thousand angels ” in Revelation 5:11,
and then “thousands of thousands .” 10,000 times 10,000 is 100,000,000 angels. Then it would have to be at least 2,000 times 2,000 because John said “thousands of thousands” (plural). Plural means at least more than one! So 2,000 times 2,000 equals 4,000,000.

Add that to the 100 million and we have 104 million angels. So we know that at Jesus birth, at least 104,000,000 angels came to worship Jesus because “ALL” the angels worshipped him.

Wow! As amazing is all this is, it is sad to know that many people reject the person of Jesus Christ. To many, Christmas is a nuisance, a dreaded
time of the year when the hearts of ignorant people waste their time in worship of a myth or religious rubbish.

To think that 104 million angels would bow down at the feet of Jesus, and
yet some people are too stinking proud to bow down before their Creator, Redeemer and God— Jesus Christ! Philippians 2:10 says, “ That AT
THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth (people in hell).”

Every soul in the universe will ultimately bow on their knees before Jesus and confess Him as Lord (The Supreme Authority of the Universe
and beyond).  So many multitudes, billions , of people refuse to bow to Christ and acknowledge His Authority as God Almighty. “FOR IN HIM

Jesus came to earth as “God in the
flesh” (I timothy 3:16). How do you view
Christ? We began this little tract speaking of Christmas and the wonderful time of year that it truly is.
Sadly, some Christ-rejecter in the past decided to remove “Christ” from “Christmas” and it caught on. Even more sad is that many Christians
foolishly write “X-MAS”, not realizing its wicked message.

The message is clearly, “we don’t
KNOWLEDGE… ” (Romans 1:28).

Now we see “X-MAS” everywhere we look. This is tragic! There’s no excuse! “Thanksgiving” is a 33% bigger word than “Christmas,” and yet no one ever calls it “X-GIVING.” How about “X-DAY”
instead of “Independence Day.” How wicked are the hearts of men. The name of Jesus, or “Christ,” should never be obliterated from anything. Our wicked society, in an attempt to
become more “politically correct,” has replaced “Christmas” with “The Holiday Season.” Years ago we heard about Christmas on TV, now it’s the holiday season instead.

This is not a mere coincidence my friend, this is very much on
purpose. “Santa Claus” is more than just a fun- loving guy that someone thought up–He’s a replacement for Jesus. Oh that people would come to Christ for salvation and forgiveness of
sins. Is it any wonder that the Bible tells us that the whole world lay in wickedness?

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness”
(1 John 5:19).

Friend, here’s how to be saved–
First , you must realize your a sinner (Romans 3:10,23)

Second , you must realize that there is a penalty for those sins, hell-fire (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8; Isaiah 64:6)

Thirdly , you must believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose again after 3 days to pay for your sins (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Christ shed His blood on the cross and took that blood
to Heaven to apply to the mercy seat in front of the Father (Hebrews 9:14,24).

Jesus’ blood sacrifice was acceptable unto God for the sins of humanity (John 3:16). Thus, eternal; life is a
FREE GIFT–Paid for by the Son (Romans 5:15).

Jesus is Almighty God! (1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1,14).

Fourthly , you don’t need to do anything to be saved, simply trust Jesus Christ. Call upon His name in prayer (Romans 10:13). He paid a debt
which He did not owe, because we owed a debt which we could not pay. You need not give up anything to be saved friend, except your unbelief. Repent of your unbelief and turn in
faith to the blessed Savior. Ask Him to forgive all your sins and take you to Heaven when you die.  Make that decision now to rely upon Jesus
Christ 100% because of what He did to pay for your sins. Trust Him whole-heartedly.

Don’t include baptism, church membership, communion, good works, etc, etc. (these things will lead you into hell if you trust in them to save you). Trust only Jesus Christ!!! (John 14:6) Trust Jesus now! To learn more of salvation

Is The Purpose Of Jesus’ Birth Fulfilled in Your Life?

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:- for he shall save his people for their sins.” – Matthew 1:21

This is a question everyone of us need to answer individually not collectively and you should be able to give an appropriate answer too.

This season countless number of people both Christians and non-christians alike are celebrating Christmas. It is said that if the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable.

This period many new things are released into the world of trade. New style clothes are introduced in the market, clothes that glorify self and exposes the body. We must realize that God never does anything without a purpose. He has a goal and plan for everything He does. So, what is the purpose of Christmas? Why did God sent His only begotten Son to die for man’s sin? Why are we celebrating Christmas today? There is a purpose-

What does purpose means? It signifies meaning, goal and reason. What is the reason why you still drink and smoke? Why do you celebrate Christmas? Is it because others are celebrating?

This period, we are celebrating the BIRTH OF CHRIST. The exact date Jesus was born is not known by any save God. Long ago, Christmas was celebrated around April, thereafter it was shifted to October or thereabout, today we’re celebrating it 25th December because long ago, the early Church fathers agreed on this date under the leadership of Constantine.

We read in Matthew 1:21 that Jesus was born to save his people from their sins. Jesus was born to be the SAVIOUR of the whole world. Why do we need a Saviour then?

We needed a Saviour because the whole world is heading for destruction. God created every man perfect, without sin. He Himself made man (Psalms 100:3). But the only way man could be separated from God was SIN. And guess who brought sin into man? Yes! It’s Satan! And from then, man’s heart has continually imagined evil.

And we know from the Bible that the pay anyone will get from sin is DEATH. God hates sin and sin is sin no matter what you think. Sin is very destructive as it condemns one in HELL FIRE forever and ever. Not only that, it also makes that person a child of the devil (1 John 3:4-10).

This is the reason why Jesus died on the cross of cavalry, to deliver you and I from the power of sin (Romans 6:6) so that we would live holy and blameless before God.

This is not a time and season to promote sin, it’s a season to be sober and reflect on Jesus. It’s not a season to dress naked in the street looking for money, it’s not the time to fornicate, it’s not a time to attend party and drink beer with friends and family, it’s not a time to eat and drink and forget about Church. It’s not a time to look for a boy/girl friend to join yourself to.

1. It should be a time of self examination and repent of every known and unknown sin in your life (2 Corinthians 13:5)

2. It should be a time to share and give gift to one another because God love us, He gave His only begotten Son, you too can be a blessing to someone’s life (John 3:16).

3. It should be a time to tell people about the REASON for the Season – Jesus. Tell someone who don’t know the purpose of Christmas.

If you would love to give your life to Jesus right now, pray this simple prayer sincerely from your heart:

“Dear Jesus, I’m sorry for my sins. I’ve realized that you’re the reason for this season. That you came to set me free from sin. LORD, please help me today, I give my life and heart to you, come into my life, be the Lord of my life from now on, write my name in the book of life. I am born again. Amen”

The Meaning of Christmas

The historic record of the birth of Christ can be found in Matthew 1:18-25 and Luke 2:1-20.

Unlike any other baby, the one born that night in Bethlehem was unique in all of history. He was not created by a human father and mother. He had a heavenly pre-existence ( John 1:1-3, 14). He is God, the Son— Creator of the universe (Philippians 2:5-11).

This is why Christmas is called the incarnation, a word which means “in the flesh.” In the birth of Jesus, the eternal, all-powerful and all-knowing Creator came to earthin the flesh.

Why would God do such a thing? Why would he come as a baby, instead of appearing in power and majesty? Why make himself a true man and live among us, when he knew full well how terribly he would be treated?

It was LOVE! It was necessary, if you are to be saved!

Have you accepted the MOST PRECIOUS GIFT anyone could ever give you?

Are you a skeptic? [http://christiananswers.net/christmas/skeptic.html]

Decide what you will do with Christ’s gift…

*.Accept Jesus- I want to accept Christ’s gift of eternal life, but I don’t know how.

*.Reject Jesus- I don’t believe any of this. I’m still skeptical.http://christiananswers.net/christmas/skeptic.html

*.Rededicate- I am saved, but I have not been living like a follower of Jesus. I want to rededicate my life to him right now.http://christiananswers.net/godstory/prayer1.html
